Connecting Bank Accounts to QuickBooks Online

Learn how to connect your bank accounts to QuickBooks Online (QBO) by linking them through the Bank Transactions menu.

• First, go to Transactions, then to Bank Transactions.
• Then, click Link Account, search for your bank, and follow the on-screen instructions to log in.
• Once you enter your login credentials, QuickBooks will ask which account you want to connect to and how far back you want to go.
  • If you know the exact date you started using the account, you can enter it here. If not, start from January 1 of the current year (note: QuickBooks Online typically allows importing up to 90 days of historical transactions, so availability may vary).

Once connected, QuickBooks Online will begin importing your transactions automatically — this may take a few minutes to complete.
