# How to Create an Invoice in QuickBooks Online

## This article goes over how to create an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

**To generate an invoice in QuickBooks Online, follow these simple steps:**

1. Click on **"+ Create"** button from the left navigation menu.
2. Under "**Customers",** select "**Invoice**" from the menu.
3. Enter the necessary customer details and choose your preferred payment terms. 
     1. Decide whether the invoice will be due upon receipt or in 30 days.
4. Select the specific "Product or Service" you are billing, and input the quantity and rate.
5. Once all the information is complete, you can then email the invoice to your client.

By following these steps, you can efficiently create and send invoices using QuickBooks Online.
